Perpetual and Temporary Vows, MSCGpe 2017

This June 24th, in the Parish of the Sagrada Familia, in the Colonia Ampliación Cosmopolita, in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, we participated in the great celebration in which several sisters lived with great joy, the realization their greatest desire: consecrate public and officially their life to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, through the vows of chastity, poverty and obedience.

The sister novice Ana Lilia Barrios Huízar, made her temporary profession, moving to the new stage of her formation called Juniorado. The exchange of the white veil by the black, was one of the most significant signs of this moment. In addition, she received from the hands of the Superior General, the Constitutions of the MSCGpe Congregation. In the same ceremony, the sisters: Yolanda Guadarrama, Esperanza González Rojas, Adriana de Jesus Ruperto, Rocío Coate Rosas, Yolanda Sántiz Gómez, and Maurilia Encinos Sántiz, made their perpetual profession, that is, they pronounced their vows of chastity, poverty and obedience, forever! to death! And as sign of this definitive commitment to the Heart of Jesus, they received the crucifix and the ring.

The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by the PR. José Guadalupe Estrada, MSC, and concelebrated also among others by our Missionary brothers and several priests friends.

The relatives of each of our sisters and all those we attend enjoyed this beautiful celebration that raised our spirit and strengthened our desire to live with fidelity the commitment of the vocation to which we were each called.

We hope that as these young women, many young people will listen to the call of God in their hearts and give a generous yes, to give themselves to their love and service in the construction of His Kingdom.
