The XIII Ordinary General Chapter was for our congregation an opportunity to review and analyze with the eyes of mercy what the Heart of Jesus asks us in these historical moments. That is why, on July 25, 2016, the chapter began with a period of awareness on the theme: "Reconfigure our Consecrated Life, from our Charism to the service of the Kingdom"

so that all the sisters could experience the urgent need to Re-signify ourselves in the key of conversion, from within our charismatic being and also to interpret the re-configuration of our Institute, as a sign of the times in the emerging scenarios where life cries. Exploring and discerning new paths in fidelity to the Spirit that inspired the SD Mary Beloved of the Child Jesus, our founder, so that our structures are at the service of the mission and the Gospel.

The determinations that marked the path of our Congregation in the areas of government, spirituality, living of religious vows and fraternal life were defined.

We dream of giving a new face to our mission from the charism that animates us, centered on the Reign of the Heart of Jesus. We wish to be a Community in missionary outreach, as Pope Francis tells us. We want to be attentive to listen to the current cries of humanity, as did our intrepid foundress, the Servant of God, Maria Amada del  Nino Jesus, in the time that she had to live.

We continue to ask for the support of the prayers of all who know us, so that the fruits of this chapter will be abundant, for the construction of the Kingdom of God.

The benefits received by the Heart of Jesus during this time of grace that we gathered together praying, discerning, sharing and sharing with the richness of the Gospel and the charism. We were favored with the participation of our brother priests the MSCs and the Lay Missionaries of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and of Santa Maria de Guadalupe who, as a family with the same spirituality and charism, we wish to support the wishes of Our Founders: SD Maria Amada and RP Teodosio Martinez Ramos, by all together seeking means to help us to strength the ties of fraternity, charism and spirituality.

We appreciate with profound gratitude to the OCD Carmelite priests who, from the preparation of our chapter, accompanied us with their advice, giving it a fresh, simple, and evangelical new sense, strengthening our charismatic identity, and warming our hearts with their homilies in each Eucharist and guiding the works in the assemblies.

A grateful acknowledgment to Brother Martin Rocha, lasallian, who in a kind and profound way helped us to discern the characteristics that a team of Government of Animation should have to accompany the sisters of a religious Institute.

Thanks to all the people who collaborate with us, our relatives, and friends who also accompanied us with their prayers and were following the development of these days through the various media.
