CHARISM, SPIRIT, END

As Lay Missionaries, we have the same Charism of the Congregations of the Missionaries and of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and of Saint Mary of Guadalupe:

"A Burning love to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and zeal for the extension of his Kingdom following the example of our Blessed Mother of Guadalupe"

1. The Heart of Jesus is the center of our life, family, work and apostolate. We love the Blessed Virgin, especially in her dedication to Saint Mary of Guadalupe, as our Mother and Model.

2. The objective of the Lay Missionaries of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and of Saint Mary of Guadalupe is to collaborate in the redemptive work of Christ, with the special mission of making him reign first in our hearts and work for the extension of his reign of love in the different environments where we are, contributing to the transformation of society, giving our lives a totally missionary course.

3. Our spiritual ideal is to become more and more like the Heart of Jesus, making our feelings, attitudes and interests our own; and imitating his virtues of: charity, obedience, humility, simplicity and self-denial; doing everything with intense love and missionary spirit, through constant conversion. We live the love and the reparation convinced that they are essential elements of this spirituality.

4. On the spiritual progress, on our generous and happy life of each member, depends the fermentation of our society to come to build the Kingdom of the Heart of Jesus. That is why we will nurture our spirit with frequent reflection on the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus and on the work of Saint Mary of Guadalupe.
